Beautiful copy with a beautiful frontispiece portrait of Charles Frédéric de JF Guillibaud, engraved by Will, a vignette on the title of the portrait of the Author painted by Kneller and engraved by Will in 1745. Five vignettes in a headband and a tailpiece, magnificently illustrated in the purest baroque style, notably the frames of the figures (we are under the Reign of Louis XV). This text had a resounding success in the 18th century with this approach to nascent Philosophy, we are in the "Age of Enlightenment"..... The figures of Delamonce engraved by Soubeyran and Galimard are magnificent.
