Decorative and beautiful quality clock from the Napoleon III period around 1880. Signed on the dial "Horloger Schnerb". Gilded bronze architecture with four columns with a figure at the top of a cupid piercing a heart. Large domed dial in white enamel accompanied by finely worked gilded hands, all protected by domed glass. The interior space is occupied by a sun pendulum visible on the front through a beveled window. Base in Carrara marble decorated with scrolls, the whole rests on six feet.Original mechanism, Ringing from one and a half hours on an old bell.
