Antique Platinum Pendant With Sapphires And Diamonds

Antique pendant from the period, round in shape, openwork and decorated on three quarters of its curve with a line of calibrated sapphires in millegrain settings.
On the front, a floral motif is set in applique and decorated with rose-cut diamonds. The bail is formed by a fleur-de-lys motif, set with rose-cut diamonds and an old-cut diamond. It supports as a tassel, within the circle of sapphires, an old brilliant-cut diamond held in claws of a larger size.

Period: 20th century
Main material: platinum, dog's head hallmark.
Weight of the main diamond: approximately 0.16 carats.
Proportions: Height: approximately 3 cm, width: approximately 2 cm, thickness: approximately 3.5 mm.
Net weight: approximately 3.6 g.
