Rare 18th century chest bench, originally from Auvergne. In natural wood stained with oxblood, superb original patina. Very good used condition, rear legs slightly refilled to compensate for natural wear. Superb work of folk art. Initials BB engraved in two places (front and upright), certainly those of its sponsor.
