An astonishing piece that this delightful soup tureen in the shape of a large bowl with lid or large broth pot, with a lid grip in the shape of an openwork cage with a dome, supported by two roaring lions, three balls including one at the top and two at the lion's paws, the cage being a chimney in case the soup too hot would cause emanations of the good smell of the broth, the lid decorated among other things with the dominant subject of stylized flowers, florets and the Courageous Heart, the rim decorated with branches with undulating and ribbed stems with generous blossoming flowers and small florets skillfully distributed in a beautiful relief work like the grips in braided rope in an arch.
