Very important Pair of vases with Janus heads in Old Paris porcelain from the Empire period around 1810. They are Medici shaped, on their sides on the right and left in high relief decorated with Janus heads topped with a vegetated handle, their square bases supported by four lion paws decorated with palms, all enhanced with gold. A very beautiful and spectacular pair of vases by their dimensions and their decorations, noted some wear to the gilding otherwise perfect condition.
