Scene Description:
The sorceress Circe is depicted in the center of the composition, surrounded by a group of figures interacting with her. Dressed in sumptuous clothing, particularly a robe with red and blue hues, she appears intent on exercising her magical power. The objects surrounding her, such as a staff and an orb that might allude to cosmological or magical knowledge, emphasize her role as an enchantress.
An armed and helmeted warrior, visibly frowning, seems to approach Circe in an attitude of defiance or supplication. The other female figures, placed in the background, may represent handmaids or goddesses, with expressions suggesting attention or fear. In the lower right corner, we glimpse an animal figure, probably a lion, which could represent the men transformed by Circe with her spells.
