Sumptuous Renaissance style Solid Silver Serving Tray, of rectangular form with cut sides. Tray bordered by an openwork frieze with Fleur-de-Lis at the corners / edges. Background with chased decoration of Spearheads at the corners, with stylized monogram in its center in a surround of interlacing leafy and flowery branches (Art Nouveau inspired, probably the result of his collaboration with the designer Lucien Bonvallet in the 1890s-1900s). Minerva Hallmark 1st Title (.950) and Hallmark of Master Goldsmith Armand-Edouard CARDEILHAC (Hallmark with the initials "EC", a crescent below, and a crowned cross of honor) received in 1851, struck out in 1904. Sumptuous This sumptuous Renaissance style tray is in excellent condition, revised and cleaned by our Goldsmith, and just light signs of use to note.
