Beautiful and large baluster-shaped pewter SPRINKLER with a short gadrooned pedestal, fitted with its screwed cap openwork with rosettes and topped with a spinning top.
Control hallmark: ff crowned / P / 170(7).
Hallmark of Louis LAINÉ received as master in 1687: lis crowned / LL / P. (The P initial of Paris). This master died in 1717
Height: 20.1 cm.
PARIS, Between 1707 and 1717

In very good condition and bearing a complete and perfectly legible hallmark, which is unfortunately not often the case. Whatever the material, earthenware, goldwork, glassware, or pewter, these large sprinklers are rare. and often jewels of collections
