"Pair Of 18th Century Lamps In Gilded Carved Wood, Candlesticks, Italy"
Pair of 18th century lamps in carved and formerly gilded wood in the Louis XIV style. Originally a pair of candlesticks, they were mounted as electric lamps. Carved and gilded wood on the front, the backs being just patinated with ochre whitewash. Some missing parts and re-gluing. Very tired gilding revealing the red plate under gilding, which gives these lamps a particular patina. Linen lampshade. Italy, 18th century. Delivery 30 euros in France, 80 euros in the EU and 150 euros rest of the world.
