Beautiful dozar-sized rug consisting of three octagonal medallions each inserting an eight-pointed star of Medes and are surrounded by flowers on an abraché* red background. Different borders take up traditional motifs: oak leaves, 'herati' motif, 'S' motif**.

*Abrache: term designating a variation of tones in the same color.
**The 'S' motif originally represents a two-headed dragon that could be observed on ancient Persian, Chinese and Celtic bronzes.
