Born in Algeria, Maurice Mazo studied at the Académie Julian in Paris, while regularly visiting the Louvre where he found his main references.
His work is in the Rubenian tradition and the Critics have especially noted his great talent as a draftsman.
He has exhibited regularly in the great Parisian Salons and has been the subject of personal or collective exhibitions in galleries.
This mythological scene reflects his pleasure in creating in a modern and personal way but with respect for classicism.
