"Pair Of Directoire Chairs In Lacquered And Carved Wood"
Elegant pair of Directoire chairs in molded wood, carved with fleurons, cream lacquered and green rechampi. They rest on two tapered legs on the front, and two sabre legs on the back, openwork bars decorated with a palmette. Early 19th century. Stenciled stamp of Soubrier in Paris under the chair. Old pink upholstery.
