"Putti"
Beautiful and unusual pair of candlesticks from the end of the reign of Louis XVI, our candlesticks are close to the work of Pierre-Francois Feuchère (1737-1823). This great bronze worker worked mainly for the cabinetmaker Adam Weisweiler. We find putti on some pedestal tables. Candlesticks in chiseled and gilded bronze representing a putto in full length, holding at arm's length a cushion decorated with fringes and pompoms, on which is placed the socket, standing on a black marble column decorated with chains and finished with a square-section base.
