"Flemish Cabinet Louis XIV Period"
Flemish cabinet in ebony veneer, red tortoiseshell and blackened wood. It opens with two doors revealing numerous drawers veneered with red tortoiseshell and brass threads (some missing) and a theater inlaid with ivory and violet wood in a checkerboard pattern and darkened with mirrors and secrets. The movable top reveals a niche. It rests on a blackened wooden base opening to a large drawer. Angers, Louis XIV period, 18th century
