Large biscuit porcelain bust representing Diana the Huntress after Jean-Antoine Houdon (1741-1828). The original model was created in 1777, then Houdon made bronze casts of her statue in 1782 and 1790. Diana, goddess of the hunt and the night, is always represented with a crescent moon on her head. Our biscuit is a 19th century cast, signed by Bracony in Paris. Ideal to complete a decoration on a desk, a chest of drawers. In excellent condition. Width: 30cm Height: 52cm
