Tray from the Napoleon III period, rectangular in shape with rounded edges, in papier-mâché with rich polychrome decoration of a fishing scene, Japanese style.
Many characters in traditional clothing are fishing on a Japanese pirogue, a ship, other fishermen and landscapes in the background.
Very good condition of the decoration, the colors are very bright, note some missing parts on the inner edge of the tray, see last photos.
