Art Nouveau medal in yellow gold, enamel, diamond, sapphire and ruby Art Nouveau medal in 18k (750°/°°) yellow gold depicting a pansy in white and pink enamel in an openwork floral design enhanced with a diamond, a sapphire and a ruby. This medal was created by MENU and its subject is taken from the fables of La Fontaine illustrated by Gustave Doré. An illustration comparable to this medal can be found in the 3rd Volume of French Jewelry in the 19th Century by Henri Vever, page 443. French work from the end of the 19th century. Traces of numbering and manufacturer's hallmark.
