"Statue For A Dentist...."
Jokes aside, it is a terracotta statue covered with a gray engobe from Guatemala. The original dating from 200 BC is in a museum somewhere in these distant lands and I learned things about it: Jalisco Ameca ezatian style…. These funerary statuettes were in the image of all the participants who could be useful to the life of the deceased in the afterlife…. So a dentist had to be at the bedside of the deceased…. Kind attention, just in case….
