Refined pair of candelabra from the early 19th century with an Empire style motif depicting winged Cupids. They stand on a sphere and each hold a floral garland from which three arms of light with foliage scroll motifs emerge, punctuated by a central torch, the square-section bases have a large acanthus rosette topped with a cylindrical, squared shaft with a heart-shaped top. Good condition, beautiful gilding. Dimensions: 53 cm high X 20 cm wide X 14 cm deep.
