Exquisite pair of Austrian Biedermeier chairs, carved and veneered in fine walnut. Workshop of Joseph Ulrich Danhauser (1780-1829).
Vienna around 1820.
A similar pair of chairs, done by Danhauser, are part of the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
