Marine ivory, iron and copper
H. 3.5 cm, length 13 cm
Flat-bellied harpoon head with a median ridge and a spur-shaped base to hold the iron blade, riveted with a copper nail. Four bevelled recesses can be seen on the sides and were used to hold the links and the compartment topped by spurs at the top, which look like stylised feathers.
The way the object is presented makes us think of a stylised bird's head with a half-open beak.
