"Mahogany Tea Table, Napoleon III Style – Late 19th Century"
This blond Mahogany tea table has a tapered, moving upper top flanked by a Pyrenees red griotte marble and surrounded at the edge by a large brass rod called an ingot mold. The larger lower top, in wood, is decorated with the same attributes and fitted with handles decorated with acanthus leaves and scrolls. The uprights, decorated with concave falls and patterns, end slightly in a saber on small bronze sabots.
