Beautiful and rare parquet regulator in Boulle marquetry ; brass on a red tortoiseshell background , very beautiful ornamentation of gilded bronzes.Dial with enameled cartridges, on the top the god Chronos and his scythe in gilded bronze, symbol of time.
Louis XV style, Napoleon III period; a French work around 1860 - 1870.
This longcase clock is in its unrestored condition , to be restored (little damaged).
