"Steamboat Signed Eugène Deshayes"
Born on January 1, 1828 in Paris. Died in 1890. Painter of animated landscapes, draftsman, watercolorist, Orientalist. He appeared at the Salon from 1848 to 1867. He was a student of his father, Jean Eleazar Deshayes. Some of his small studies reveal a sensitivity close to those of Boudin or Corot.
