Bronze with black patina and brown highlights on a base of red griotte marble. Total height with its base: 38 cm. The subject alone: 27.5 cm This beautiful bronze sculpture is the work of a Flemish artist from the 17th century. It represents a naked man, standing, looking intensely at the head of his opponent that he holds in his left hand, in all likelihood it could be a warrior represented as Mars (the god of war). In the right hand a sword (the blade is missing.) Good condition. Sold with certificate
