Rare armchair in carved, ribbed and molded padouk. The arched legs, joined by an oblique H-shaped spacer, extend at the back into a curved trapezoid backrest with carved and openwork decoration. The armrests, with a moving cuff, end in a crook and rest on an arc-shaped upright. The seat is held by two buttressed sides. Non-original upholstery. Similar model presented at the Liege Museum. Circa 1897/8. Signed with a hot iron SERRURIER Liège under the seat at the front. Dimensions: 104 x 61 x 61 cm
