The Charivari is an ornamental accessory worn by men and women in traditional costumes, characterised by a chain with several hunting pendants.
The jaws of small rodents or martens represent the amulet pendants characteristic of this jewellery.
This pendant is mounted on maillechort and decorated with a pastillée frieze of rais-de-cœurs.
