"Jean Perzel (1892-1986) Pair Of Art Deco Lamps "
Pair of Art Deco lamps signed J.PERZEL (Jean Perzel 1892-1986) model 509 created in 1929 by the famous Perzel house in Paris presenting an elegant Modernist structure in chromed metal with a circular base ringed with a protruding disc from which rises a flared shaft supporting a dome with a hemispherical body in thick frosted glass topped with a refined quarter pivoting lampshade in chromed metal allowing to modulate and direct the light while creating a Cubist style. Good general and electrical condition (note some oxidation to the period chrome) They each measure 37 cm high X 20 cm wide. Since 1923, the Perzel workshops have perpetuated a lighting design that celebrates modernity and innovation. A living heritage nourished by thought, know-how and passion embracing three generations.
