"20th Century Italian Turquoise Hexagonal Carved Column"

20th Century Italian Turquoise Hexagonal Carved Column, sculpture or vase antique pedestal. The base is hexagonal shaped, each side measures 15 cm. with deep moulding and frames in oxide silver with beaded parts; on this side the shaft is punctuated by canes lacquered in turquoise on an ivory background, interrupted in the middle by a frame in oxide silver. The upper part, also hexagonal, is lacquered in turquoise with an oxide silver border and has a side length of. 13 cm. The column is in good condition apart from minor wear and tear.
The provenance is Tuscan and dates from the first half of the 20th century.
