Wood And Glass Coffee Table By Ico Parisi, Model 751, For Cassina - 1962, Italy

A low coffee table for the living room, model 751, is designed by the famous Italian architect Ico Parisi in 1962 and produced by Figli di Amedeo Cassina.
The solid wood frame is ingeniously constructed and features a variety of connections that together form a layering. We see connections with double dowels on each leg, which in turn are positioned asymmetrically to each other. Raised edges ensure that the glass top remains fixed to the structure.
The entire coffee table measures 35x132x57 cm. The patina of the wood is in excellent condition. The surface of the wood has been polished and checked for wear. It retains its original Nile green glass top, which shows inevitable signs of wear due to use and age. The Cassina label appears on the bottom of the frame.
