"Arche Clock Directoire Empire Period Gilt Bronze "
Important Directoire period arch clock in gilded bronze and base in black Belgian marble, representing two winged victories on each side of a trophy formed by a bow, a torch and a quiver (attributes of Eros). A pair of birds decorate the shock absorber, perched on a laurel branch.
