"Louis XVI Period Gilded Wood Console"
Louis XVI console table in rectangular shape in gilded and carved wood. The crosspieces are openwork with scrollwork decoration, leafy motifs, acanthus and twisted ribbons. It rests on four tapered fluted legs, they are carved with an acanthus leaf at the base. The white marble top molded with a fillet is projecting on the corners. This old marble is later. Good state of conservation with its old gilding which has taken on a beautiful patina over time.
