"Beautiful Table Obelisk In Onyx, White And Black Carrara Marble, Bronze And Lapis Lazuli 19th Century"
I present here from an important private collection this beautiful table obelisk in almond green and brown veined onyx, on its pedestal in Carrara marble from the 18th century in the Directoire style. The black marble sole with a doucine on three sides is surmented by a white marble diedestal (both from Carrara) with a belt of the same in white boudin pitted and ornamented above two elongated bronze pearl medallions in lapis lazuli and two lateral bosses of the same in the round of bosse. The ornamental molded entablature in patinated bronze like the square round with large bronze beads; the underside covered with marbled paper is labeled C. Beystegui, in the Neo-classical style, this beautiful piece of curiosity is a desk or console decoration and contributes to accompanying a collection in the Antique ornamental taste of great elegance.
