"Officer's Travel Clock, Late 19th Century"
Rare model of an officer's grand striking clock with its original travel case, signed on the enamel dial T. Martin and Cie 151 Régent street London and Paris Fabrique de Paris, and on the back plate "T. Martin and Co Paris". Original key present numbered 28 329, as are the case and the plate of the mechanism. A punch on the plate indicates the manufacture of the parts by Drocourt (oval punch with the initials DG). Striking on 3 hammers. Three striking options to be adjusted under the clock: grand striking (full striking), usual striking (striking) and silence (silent). On the top, the button for striking on demand. Old revision inscriptions under the reverse. Clock sold as is to be revised.
