"Italian Violin "
We present this entire Italian violin from the beginning of the 20th century by POLLASTRI GAETANO, dated 1909. GAETANO was the younger brother of AUGUSTO and at a very young age he trained in violin making with his brother. Then he became a violinist in a second life and in a third life, he became a full-fledged violin maker. On the inside label it is clearly marked: GAETANO fratello (brother) of AUGUSTO. This violin seems to us to be of a nice quality, it measures 36 cm, it has a nice head and the back is in one part, a key is missing and it is in its own juice. GAETANO POLLASTRI 1886-1960, the date on the label would correspond to an age of 23 years. Original or copy of MIRECOURT, but superb quality. (E24)
