"Stained Glass - Stained Glass Windows - Original Sin"
In this 16th century medallion, Adam and Eve, tempted by the serpent, are preparing to pick the fruit of knowledge.The serpent, coiled around a tree, holds the apple in its mouth, which it places in Eve's hand.
Adam and Eve are naked and entwined. They are surrounded by other animals populating the Garden of Eden. We can recognize an ox and perhaps a porcupine.
Painting in grisaille and silver yellow. All the pieces of this stained glass window are glued to a transparent support glass.
