Charming Chinese rug from the Ningxia region. Its graphics are elegant and typical of these creations using extremely soft wools. The Ningxia workshops have been inspired for about fifty years by classic 'Beijing' type patterns.
Floral motifs are widely represented in the center and in the border: the chrysanthemum, symbol of joy and emblem of longevity is associated with autumn. The lotus, symbol of maturity, purity and perfection is associated with summer.
