A Small Famille Rose Armorial Dish The centre decorated with fantastical birds. The rim with a double-headed eagle crest within a gilt floral trellis. Qianlong C1770 .Diameter; 16.2cm.

Condition; chipped to the inside of the foot, and to the rim. Minor chips and minor wear.

This eagle crest was popular in Britain and on the Continent. Spode replacements exist and it is possible that the service was made for a family member or friend of Moses Benson of Lutwyche Hall, Shropshire
