Transition style chest of drawers in rosewood and palisander marquetry decorated with floral interlacing, cubes and trompe-l'oeil pilasters, opening with three drawers without crosspiece, with gilt bronze and chiseled pull handles in the shape of laurel wreaths, and keyholes topped with ribbons. Two gilt bronze fittings representing pilasters supporting garlands adorn the canted corners. It rests on four foliated sabot feet. Top in Aleppo breccia marble with double molding. Late 19th century.
