Beautiful Louis XV period travel pistol. Metal lock signed OUVRE A NANTES. French flintlock hammer with swan neck. Perfect operation. Barrel with 3 sides at the thunder and round at half, decoration clearly visible. All metal fittings in good condition. Walnut frame, some small wood losses at the thunder of the barrel and at the top left of the lock otherwise very good. Latin. Absence of the ramrod. Refined gentleman's travel pistol worn under Louis XV. Interesting marking of Nantes. 163mm barrel Approximately 12mm at the muzzle
