"Regency Lamps In Mercury Gilded Bronze "
Pair of mercury-gilded bronze candlesticks in the Regency style, mounted as lamps. Resting on four lion claw feet, the square base. The wide baluster shaft at the top and narrow at the bottom is decorated with women's screws, four openwork light arms crown the whole while a fifth central one accommodates a white conical lampshade. The electrification to current standards was carried out without modifying the structure of these candlesticks which can find their original use!. 19th century work, very shiny mercury gilding. Very good quality, with no lack or restoration! Dimensions of the candlesticks: base 13/13cm / height: 41cm / diameter: 27cm Total height: 69cm / diameter 45cm
