André Slom. Oil on canvas "Children playing in the park in Geneva" signed lower right. A. Slom. French school. 41 X 27 cm. André Slomszynski (1844-1909) is a painter and designer, of Polish origin. He was an illustrator for Parisian periodicals. He participated in the Commune and had to go into exile in Geneva, Switzerland. He returned to France thanks to the amnesty law in 1881. Wooden frame and gilded plaster of the time. Good condition.
