"Brussels 1783, Tripod Coffee Pot, Solid Silver, Henricus Millé, Louis XVI"
Sumptuous tripod coffee pot from the Louis XVI period with the hallmarks of the city of Brussels for the year 1783 . The quality and abundance of its decorations are an exquisite testimony to the know-how of the most illustrious dynasty of Brussels goldsmiths in the history of the city. Henri Millé (1731-1799) who gave us this magnificent piece of Silverware was the son of the most famous Brussels goldsmith: Lambert Millé. Father and son have dozens of pieces listed in Belgian museums and church treasures. Another important detail: it still has its original handle, the sculpture of which reproduces the same decorations as those on the coffee pot. Even its weight is impressive: 1350 grams.
