Pair Of Antique Gilt Sterling Silver Boxed Navette Salts With Shell Spoons

Late Victorian boxed pair of 2 matching sterling silver salts together with accompanying spoons. Neoclassical style with oval, boat-shaped navette bodies and large loop side-handles. The salts are embossed with a reeded design and gold-washed to the interior. The spoons have fluted shell bowls and are decorated with large beads to the terminals.
The set is housed in its original fitted presentation case made of dark brown leather and embossed with a gold border to the domed hinged lid. The interior of the box is lined with emerald green velvet and silk.

Very good antique condition. Some marks to the interiors appropriate to age and use; very shallow depression to the side of one salt; the handles of the spoons are very slightly uneven.
