Desk Clock Signs Of The Zodiac 1940/1950 Saddle Leather. Jeager Lecoultre, Hermès, Adnet

Very original desk clock circa 1940/1950 with a dial decorated with the signs of the zodiac, mounted on a saddle-stitched leather base. It is made of gilded brass, the base is perhaps made of bronze. On the movement it is marked "7 rubies". It is not signed but is very reminiscent of the creations of Jeger Lecoultre, some of their production were not marked. We obviously also think of Hermès, Jacques Adnet because of the design and the marriage of saddle-stitched leather and metal. It is in very good condition for its age and works, it sometimes lags a little but I think a little revision would do it the world of good.
