Charlot Paris Small table from the end of the 19th century, in rosewood and rosewood, with very refined applications in gilded and chiseled bronze, drawer lock signed "Sormani 10 Charlot Paris". Measurements: Height 75 cm; Width 63 cm; Depth 43 cm. Paul Charles Sormani was the son of the famous cabinetmaker Paul Sormani considered one of the greatest names in Second Empire cabinetmaking. He founded the company in 1847 in Cimetiere Saint Nicholas in Paris and moved in 1854 to Rue Charlot 1867. After his death in 1877, Sormani's son Paul Charles took over the company, which later moved to 134 baulevard Haussmann.
