Signed lower left, titled and dated on the back
Algerian painter, Luc Elysée Serraf arrived in France in 1962 after studying at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Algiers.
He settled in Aubagne, but divided his time between France and Algeria.
He participated in numerous collective or personal exhibitions, such as that of the Vasarely Foundation in Aix en Provence in 1988, his works are in many Museums.
His painting is lively and colorful, especially for orientalist scenes like our small painting.
