"Art Deco Dining Table With 10 Chairs, Macassar, Brass, Paris Circa 1930"
The extendable table is made of Macassar ebony veneer, lacquered and polished to a high gloss. It has a very beautiful base with four elegantly curved legs. The legs are decorated with brass cylinders at the ends and decorative strips on the intermediate base. The wooden underside and the extraction mechanism are made of solid mahogany. It can be pulled out to the side with newly made recessed tops in matching Macassar veneer. Comes with ten Art Deco dining chairs in beech stained and lacquered in the Macassar tone. Upholstered in original cream-white Alcantara leather with keder and very comfortable seat. Six chairs were original with the table, four chairs were later reproduced identically.
