Elegant polychrome wooden virgin and child from the 18th century. It rests on an old red velvet base, dressed in a tunic, she carries the baby Jesus on her left arm who holds a sphere representing the world in his hands. Wearing a veil, the virgin is finely carved, the whole keeps its remains of original polychromy with wear due to age. Charming object remaining in good condition.
